Prototyping

Hexagon Innovations provides support in the transition from a rough idea into a working product. Thru intense collaboration with clients, working prototypes can be created at reasonable costs.
If mould engineering and manufacturing are needed to build the prototype, we can facilitate in this process as well.

Process engineering and optimalisation

When your production facilities don’t allow the growth that is needed, upscaling is the only way to keep supplying the amount of products required by your clients.
We can offer support in upscaling strategies.
The main goal in this process is making the production process itself more efficient, without loosing the required quality standard. We achieve this by applying alternative production methods, different logistics, different tools and innovative materials.

Mould engineering & fabrication

We design and manufacture moulds produced in the following materials:
– Steel
– Aluminium
– Carbon fibre (prepreg)
– Glassfibre
– Tooling board Pu / Epoxy

Our 4 axis CNC milling machine creates plugs an moulds up to 3000 x 2000 x 1000mm in dimension.

Production of carbon fiber prepreg parts

We have a modest production facility in lelystad, the Netherlands where we produce custom autoclave-cured high end composite products. Our speciality lies in the production of visual carbon fiber parts.
Other techniques of production that we apply are:
– Vacuüm infusion moulding
– Wet lay-up
– Trapped silicone (high pressure) moulding
– Trapped foam (high pressure) moulding
